paint

I've also been splashing paint on things lately.  I used leftover paints to transform a ho-hum bookcase in the little boy's room into something a bit more exciting, and brightened up some oak off-cuts Ingela P Arrhenius style!  They are certainly more sturdy and better looking than the felt pen-on-toilet-paper-rolls we usually go for in this house.  I truly admire all Ingela's work - if illustration interests you, you simply must check out her website.

(By the way - you can click here to see what the bookcase used to look like, and how much smaller Charlie was almost a year ago!)
